FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

About Our Sarees

Are your sarees handwoven?

Yes, every saree we carry is handwoven by skilled artisans. Banarasi sarees are woven on traditional pit looms in Varanasi, and Kasavu sarees are handwoven in Balaramapuram, Kerala. Minor variations in weave, colour, and finish are natural characteristics of handcraft, not defects.

How do I know the saree is authentic?

We source directly from weaver communities and curate every piece ourselves. We describe the origin, technique, and material of each saree on its product page.

Do you sell power-loom sarees?

No. We only carry handwoven and hand-embroidered sarees.
